It is the firm conviction of Duggan Veterinary Supplies that there is a growing opportunity to market prescription products by continued and focused detailing of these specific products to the veterinary surgeons who manage and are responsible for choosing the medicinal products in the veterinary sector.
There are many conditions in veterinary , where the first point of contact by the patient (or his/her owner) is the Veterinary surgeon or the practice nurse. At DVS , we are in a position to detail intimately the range of veterinary products we carry as we don’t overlap and only carry items which are of a suitable quality.
Already supplying veterinary and pet needs in all 32 counties, it is the firm intention of Duggan Veterinary Supplies to remain at the forefront of veterinary whole-saleing within Ireland , regarding both traditional Veterinary products and new innovative items within our area of expertise. The Companion animal area continues too make huge strides forward within the Irish market; Whether it is supplying Prescription medicines, canine or feline accoutrements or top of the range quality grooming/pet products, Duggan Veterinary is in a position to supply all the retail business needs. |

Stock availability
Working in partnership with a wide range of suppliers, Duggan Veterinary aim to offer every customer everything required to run their practice on a daily basis. We carry a stock range of 9000 products and have access to over 16000 products in total.
With such a vast range of products available, many of high value, it is neither physically nor financially practical for the average practice to stock more than a fraction of what they may need. Offering a reliable, accurate service means that our customers can use us as their stock room. This allows you to offer clients a high level of stock availability while minimising the capital tied up in stock. It also helps limit the quantity of dangerous drugs in the practice, making the community a safer place to be.
Merchandising
In an increasingly competitive market, many veterinary practices are considering merchandising as an additional source of income. A well organised merchandising display will attract customers; allow them to find what they're looking for, while also providing the opportunity for you to bring those products that they are most likely to need to their attention. The biggest decision any practice has to make is deciding which product ranges to stock, and here's where Centaur can help. We assist practices to 2 ways:
1. Identify succinct product ranges that can be easily stocked and sold 2. Provide advice to practices on what are the fastest selling merchandising products.
Our aim is to help practices reduce the risk and expense associated with stocking slow moving products.
